Making its debut in 2013 as the first marketing case competition at the University of Toronto Mississauga, “Ready, Set, Market!” has shown an increasing success rate over the years. The daylong conference is designed to engage business students in solving a real-life case challenge pertaining to an existing brand. This year, RSM invites students from various universities across Ontario to build their network and develop a wide variety of professional skills, ranging from problem-solving to presentation skills.
What is RSM?
In teams of four, participants compete with each other to construct the best viable solution with the help of UTM professors and industry professionals. Participants are given three weeks of preparation, after which they must present their solutions on the day of the event to a panel of esteemed judges recruited from world class organizations.
As an event that strives to deliver value to all attendees, RSM is also structured to include workshops, as well as a networking and information session in aim of benefiting attendees in multiple facets. Valued industry professionals are invited as keynote speakers as well as workshop hosts to share their knowledge about the evolving landscape of the marketing industry.
